I bought this setup from Vindi a month or two back, got the car back up and running just before the last weekend, my God, ITBs are worth doing for the noise alone. I'd sat and watched video after video, I'd been in friends cars with ITBs, but to have them on my own car is a whole new thing. I'm in love. I do need to work out what I'm doing in relation to velocity stacks and filters though. I'm leaning towards chopping the inlet mani down slightly, but part of me is saying to buy a DanST inlet instead and sell the Bogg Brothers one on... The noise is something else isn't it? Like you, I'd sat and watched videos of ITBs so many times but nothing compares to the real thing.

Yup, it's awesome. The last 1500rpm or so, it's almost painful. I love it.

Around 4-5k, mine sounds almost rotary like, extreme angry buzzing, over that I feel like it evens out but gets more urgent. I still haven't taken proper vids of mine on cam and flat out.
Maybe something to do tonight or tomorrow night.

If you cut it down you'll lose torque and power, and the DanST one is just not as good. Do whatever you have to do to move things out of the way but keep it as long as you can!! Russell

The noise was amazing.

Russell I'll have to see what can be done, because it's the fuel lines on the chassis leg, and the brake prop valve that get in the way, and to relocate them will mean a chunk of work redoing the fuel & brake lines. Ideally I'd like to keep the inlet tract as long as possible, but it being a car that gets used on the road still, some comprise may have to be made.

I've been looking into this, a possible option is curved stacks

The brake prop valve is what was in the way with my Jenvey setup as well, not that hard to move it without much work as it just screws on and the pipes have plenty of play in them as long as you don't kink them. Same story with the fuel lines, the hard pipes can be moved a bit or just shorten the hard pipes and extend the soft section to reroute them Russell

Shortening the fuel hard lines was what I was thinking, but then part of me wondered whether they came up so high for a reason? Good to know there's a bit of play in the lines to the prop valve, I'll have a go at moving that, I'm likely to kink the lines though, that's for sure...

I fitted the HKS cams I've had lying around today. I know I won't see any significant difference without headwork, but they were lying around and i had to change the cam seals anyway, so it seemed a shame to leave them on the shelf.
An afternoon of passes along the bypass and I have them dialled in quite nicely - definitely more oomph in the mid range, and a different sound when accelerating. Idle is rock solid as well, which was a surprise.

I really need to crack on getting my itbs sorted, wanted some for about 4 years.
Going to go get the bodies I lent to a mate. And then start parts collecting.
