Looking at styling options, there's loads of mx5s with that classic military look... is that craze done now or is it still OK to do?
I've not been too bothered by theming a car before but one caught my eye, but I'm about as knowledgeable on current styles and trends as most of your mothers. I wouldnt want to swing into a car park and everyone say 'look at that Coxswain!' (Until I'm out the car at least!

If you're going to do it, do it properly. Like Hot Rod Magazine did with the F bomb. Hng.

I was kinda thinking that everyone goes british military, but its a jap car so it should really be kamikaze...
Although it is a risk taking sides with the opposition, its quite easy to offend...

That is insane - in Poland would it seem Ok to put a swastika on your car? I think this would be illegal in most european countries - here I think you would get you car trashed! I like the Jap look though

effectively the way we see the swastika is the same as anyone in east asia would see the banzai motif

Military look is evolving. I was planning to do mine in the Russian SU35 type blue digital camo until I saw online that someone had already beaten me to it with an NB done up in the same style. Tribute where tributes are due however. I would not want to be flying the uncle sam spec jets against any of the badass new gen Russian things. Seems the central banks have decreed that more bombs need to be dropped on both sides in so that economies can all grow by some infinitesimal amount; people with shares in guns and toilet paper can cash in, and the Keynesian bullcanoe can play out for another decade

Having owned Plane Car in late 2014....i would say it is about a year or 2 over done now. It was already past being novel at that point

The camo comment reminded me of this one I saw at an MX5 show in Germany in 2008:

How about those crazy black-and-white geometric designs they put on ships to confuse subs in WW2?

Dazzle camouflage?
You could argue Richard tickner's mk2 did that but would be interested in seeing it done
