nearside rear wheel bearing done, certainly quieter now but also highlights the fact that the offside is grumbling

Two new rear calipers on her mk1 for the MOT. Swearing later and it's all done.

Got my rear arches on, absolutely love it! Need to scrub the new tyres in though they are pretty scary at present!

Thanks dude, that's the vibe I'm going for! 15x8 et 0 and 225 45's mate, there are 3mm spacers on the front atm, and nothing on the rear. I did get 20mm spacers for the rear but their ott, and make the figment look too "Stancey" This side has the 20mm spacer This side doesn't, I think about 5mm will be spot on so that's tomorrows job.

Took my little silver hack to the alps, having pissed the entire contents of my power steering system across the french highway system, with a little puddle on the eurotunnel train :-)

Started stripping / tidying the engine bay in prep for my MS3, hopefully this week. Pulled the MAF and its and the Air con wires to be tied off, removed the carbon canister and associated gubbins, and started prep for the washer bottle move to the scuttle panel - extended, sheathed and ran the pump wiring and water pipes to N/S, and removed the washer bottle and bracket - although its not in that pic. Oh, and moved the horn thats on the firewall, as I needed the hole. There's loads of space there for a turbo now....... And then I dropped my fav 10mm socket down the fecking water drain hole and into the inner wing. Also had a general tidy / clean up. Found a couple of small surface rust spots and prepped / painted them.

Got in touch with the man who's going to respray my car, struggling to decide between a colour change or a refresh of the red that's already there!

I fixed my damaged snow chain with some zip ties I decided I'd need (I had just enough .. feel naked now without any left) and topped up the windscreen juice with a little isopropanol, and turned it around in its parking space.
