Nothing on the 5 today, but did change a headlight bulb on my brother's Z4 (literally the most ridiculously difficult job ever), filled it up with petrol, topped up the tyre pressures, and retrieved €2 and 50p from behind some trim. Then got it cleaned! As he's in Guernsey, I'm borrowing it for the week as our Tailgate McNoIndicate-mad cousin is getting married so we have arranged a Tailgate McNoIndicate only parking area for her   I quite like it. A few things to work on but all in all a good car. |

started taking my recently bought 2nd hand mesiter coilovers apart so i can re-paint the springs
they are all flaking and looking a bit rusty underneath

Got my racking from Costco delivered and built today. Each shelf can hold nearly a ton so the bottom shelf now has my gearbox, diff, ppf and all rear suspension. The racking could in theory support the weight of 2 MX5's. I now have the room to remove the front suspension, subframe and engine.

Got out work early. Didn't have anywhere to go so gave it a clean using this, which has been rescued by me from my parents garden .  Nice and shiny  And the reason why I can't see much at night is fairly clear  |

Fitted a new lower ball joint plus meisters and axxis ult to the front! Fitting the rear meisters plus changing the rear calipers some time next week |

Just back in from adding more slow acting, environmentally friendly, useless paint stripper to my rear subframe - in the next stage of my stubborn inability to admit that I should have paid someone to blast this!  |

gave my 6uls on the silver hack a good cleaning.
trial-fitted the volks (oh god, the sexyness)
trail-fitted the ssr mesh (2x oh god, the sexyness) (but needs 5mm spacers on the 2.5 sports brakes)
prepped my old 14" daisies (which I think are a very sexy design, but no use to me now) to be couriered
realised I want longer wheel studs for both my mk1s, not just the blue one.
and that's about it.
fck. wet. fck.
