Yep I removed about 2mm of that rubber. I may have to trim a bit more, but it is ok for now. A spray of light oil will probably help too. It is good to know my car is a little safer with the wheel hidden in the house when I am away. I know locking it in the boot is probably not ideal when parked away, but at least it is better than not doing anything. I wont be walking around the shops holding it, making "brum brum" noises

Yes thanks It loosened up a little. I should probably remove a bit more boss rubber, but I can't be rear canoed at the mo.

Just trimmed the hub rubber a second time and the QR is much smoother.
