Thought it might be fun to have a thread to throw ideas at the FabDaves.
Mine: Front hub backing plates designed to take a tubed feed from the front of the car for brake cooling.

Guys this is awesome! Horney - cooling ducts are a great idea - we'll start looking into a simple kit and keep you posted. Muckingfuppet (love the name) - thruxton's right there are others already doing this out there. We'll see if there is something clever we could do to make our version a bit different thought... Atlex - we haven't forgotten about the airbox. Purchase order went to the lasercutter yesterday for the first production batch  We've made a few changes since that prototype, it now incorporates a heat shield and a removable section so that we can easily accommodate both 1800 and 1600 cars. We can't wait to get this one out there! It would be interesting to know who is around the Wiltshire / north Somerset area, we're always looking for other cars to measure up - let us know if you're local, it would be cool to catch up. |

Awesome to hear you're following it up. davefab can you send photos or sketches of the new design ? The airbox definitely looks like it needs a nice alloy sprayer bottle relocation kit too. I know others make these tool. |

Also I know there are others out there, but side mounts for bucket seats? Maybe two designs for driver and passenger side to adapt onto stock runners. Although to be fair I'd throw money at you for some side mounts to fix to the floor. It's a right PITA trying to bolt my seats in onto the floor at the moment, I'd rather have side mounts with captive nuts welded into them to get through from below.

I had one of these in a Dino waaaaay back in time around 1978. A beautiful piece of in car jewelry. Takes a bit of getting use to but still lovely. They where once availiable for the MX-5.  Rich. |

atlex here's couple of pics of the latest iteration...   muckingfuppet we made up some brackets to mount sprint 5's onto runners - side mounted to the floor would be nice though... That gated shifter is pretty cool!

That airbox is indeed a thing of beauty.
Would it fit with a stock front brace or does it need to be the Davefab one?
