Unfortunately I don't think my 5 will be ready in time for the trackday, I'm getting some major work done and it's taking ages. However, I have just picked up a cheapo Clio 172 track car to keep me going with a few track days through the summer until my 5 is ready. Hopefully, nobody minds me bringing this along instead. Yeah it’s no problem. |

Looking forward to this even more now, I was due to be at Bedford today for a trackday but my alternator belt snapped on the way home on Saturday and I couldn't get one yesterday to fit in time to go up there today

I can't leave home until the Friday evening, so will be stopping in a delightful roadside hotel somewhere on the M4 and finishing the journey Saturday morning. Won't be able to stay the Saturday night either but should still be a good blast on the track

What great fun. The track day in Wales. The day started wet but soon the sun was out and semi slicks weren’t such a crazy idea. Terrific circuit. I had not been there before but I love it now. A big thank you to Horney and all the work he does. Nice to meet a few of you and put faces to names. Thank you for the passenger rides as well. I met up with Zed (Rich). We had a good run in the damp/wet to start the day off. Back in the pits we chatted about performance upgrades. Quick as a flash Zed was able to increase my advantage and show me a huge power upgrade to my NC. So thanks for that Zed. ….. Oh, what was it …… He got out the car and I shot off! 😆 I’m not saying he’s ‘heavy’ ……. But …… If you couldn’t get there this year, then do get there next. You will not be disappointed. Regards.
