I got a great run out in Loweneders NA. A very nice quick car. So thanks for that one Dave.
Regards. Rich.

You're welcome Rich. And thanks for the laps in your NC, never been in one before, very impressed. We may not be quite as fast as we once were, but there's life in us old codgers yet Just need to convince the mrs that a NC should be her next car.... . Things I learnt: PS3s are a great wet weather track tyre. In the dry, not so much. Also, Rodders brake pads are very good indeed.

Your welcome Dave. I definitely agree with you about the Roddison pads. My Yellow Stuff ones are bloody horrible! I’m going back to the Roddison ones for sure.
Regards. Rich.

It was great fun, yep! Thanks for organising Horney I lost a bit of time when I went to get some petrol at lunchtime and came back with a horrific grinding noise from my front left brakes. Turns out one of the mounting bolts that attaches the caliper to the carrier had DISAPPEARED. Nobody around had a spare (not surprising), and there weren't any in Zed.'s van, so he kindly took me to a local MX5 garage in Barry where they were having a social - at least nobody was doing a lot of work - and I had a rummage in their miscellaneous parts bucket. Found a couple of bolts, one as a spare/lucky charm to ward off further disappearances, which they didn't want me to pay them for, and returned to the circuit where I fitted the caliper back on, checked tightness on the other side too, and got back out on track. Even gave Zed. a passenger ride to 'thank' him for his help, and I can also attest to the added lightness after he got out And the added bollocking, as one of the other cars had a conversation with the tyre wall and Rich wanted to get out and help the guy. Marshals not happy!

lol at the Supra 'getting some angle' after that little chicane! Those trees are, er, quiet close to the edge of the circuit... There doesn't seem to be much run-off space generally! Really excellent quality on the B-Spec video, though, remarkably smooth - what camera setup was that? The wonky horn button on the Fizbne/Corders video is majorly setting off some OCD... lol
